Job Overview:

Report directly to 3 Financial Managers and indirectly to Head of Finance. Complete the accounting function to the trail balance, that includes processing bank account statements on Pastel, reconcile the cashbook. Assist with month end submissions and reports.

Description of role / Main duties:

  • Process bank statements
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Full creditors function
  • Assist Financial Managers with journals and month end
  • Tax related issues: submission of VAT 201, EMP 201 and assist with any SARS audits
Experience and Qualifications
Work Experience:3-5 years’ experience in the Finance industry.
Tertiary Experience:Degree
System & knowledge:Preferably have financial service and/or Real Estate experienceSAGE Pastel experiencePreferably audit environment background (SAICA or SAIPA)
